Will Rust-Gard flatten my car's battery:
No, Rust-Gard has specially designed
Battery-Saver circuitry that will automatically
detect a low
voltage condition of your battery and Rust-Gard will turn
itself off. When you start your car again and battery voltage
returns
to a normal operating voltage of 12.5V or above,
Rust-Gard will turn
itself back
on.
The Red LED is not operating:
This may mean your battery voltage
is fallen
below 11.5V Once you start your vehicle the Red LED
should
commence flashing. If not, check the fuse and change if
necessary. If the RustGard LED still fails to flash, consult
your dealer
to have the system checked.
I
notice my cars body appears cleaner:
One of the beneficial side-effects
of Rust-Gard is that in changing the ion status of your vehicle,
air-borne dust will no longer be attracted to
your car. Similarly if you
received
static shocks during some dry winter days when entering or
alighting from your car, these will normally also disappear
because of
the same side-effect.
Will Rust-Gard interfere with my in-car
entertainment system or
drive
computer:
No, Rust-Gard has been tested to world-standard
compliance
regulations and has been observed not to create any
EMC,
EMI or RFI properties.
I
have a new car - why do I need rust protection:
Although
automotive manufacturers continue to make better
cars, rust still
occurs.
Electronic rust protection is better than chemical rust-proofing
because electronic rust-proofing protects the entire
automobile not just those areas where
sprayed on sealant has
reached. Additionally electronic rust-proofing is not dependent
on the quality or skill of a sprayed on applicator
How difficult is it to install?
Not difficult at all. If you have sufficient skills to hang a
picture, it will be no problem. It takes most people less than
30 minutes.
Will Rust-Gard stop scratches from rusting?
Yes.
